Chief Allen Tingley signed off one last time yesterday after his daughters gave a special announcement over the airwaves in honor of their Dad’s 45 years of service. Then he had a procession of town, police, and fire vehicles escorted him to his house where he will start a well-deserved retirement. A great man that has left his mark on our town. He will be missed, but the department he has built will be in the great hands of new Chief Kingsbury.
