This afternoon, I met with Medway’s Erin Deford at her shop next town over in Holliston, MA. The Bird & Bear Collective is much more than a shop though. It is a retail spot, meeting space, a community of its own. It is an inviting environment open to so much—Erin partners with many in the area to create unique experiences. In my case, we are talking about how Tim Rice Photo and The Bird & Bear can work together to bring photo sessions to more people. She rents the shop out for events, meetings, classes, and it is a beautiful space all by itself. It is located in an old building from the 1700s, a one-time bank, right in downtown Holliston. From her page, she describes the Collective as – The Bird & Bear Collective is a place for unique conversations, events, experiences, merchandise, and apparel whether you are in a season of nesting and resting, or exploring and soaring.
