Welcome to day one or year 13 in the dailypic. Many may know the dailypic, and I share a birthday, October 1st, 1973 I started, October 1st, 2009 the dailypic started. I have not missed a day of either. Another year around the sun for us. I enjoy each year, and the alternative is less attractive to me. The last year felt heavy, though. I am sure many can relate. Just a weight of so many things, small, large, quiet, loud, it felt like a lot. Not a complaint, just a review, like a Yelp review of the year that was. Maybe 2.5, 3 stars tops. I have some personal and business plans for the coming year I am looking forward to, more on that soon. Every year I hope I will be the one I learn to relax. Every year I know that is a lie. I do slow down more these days, but it is usually because I can’t see things without my glasses, so things take longer because I never seem to have them with me, even though I have eight pairs.
