the dailypic 4381 yr12 363 High Tension

A leftover from the 5k I photographed over the weekend. I was left alone on the top end of Adams Street in Medway, waiting for the runners to get to me. The blow-up light used to illuminate the road, where I would take the runner photos lit up the high tension poles and made them look eerie. There is nothing perfect about the shot, a long exposure, handheld at 1/13th of a second, but I found it interesting.

Cool, Tim. You can see stars in the black of the sky. You have a steady hand.

A chance to look at something we pass by hundreds of times and don’t see.
