According to some quick searches on the internet, the Brown-headed Cow Bird is a dick. Mean, invasive, they lay eggs in other birds’ nests and take off, leaving the other birds on the hook of raising their offspring. It has even contributed to the listing of other doing birds as endangered. Had I know any of this prior to taking these photos, I might have made it look more menacing in my photos. Cute though, right?
