Over 500 people filled this room for Kyle and his family. Captian Kyle R. Van De Giesen was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2009. The Cocktails for Courage event is used to fund programs in his memory, this was the 10th year. It is a privilege to be part of it. Personally this was my 7th. The foundation provides scholarships and more for local kids and families. This is how I start my Memorial Day weekend each year, I am honored to be a small part of it.
