Three big events today, I started my day celebrating Free Comic Book Day at Rubber Chicken Comics the way I always do. This year FCBD fell on May the 4th, Star Wars Day, so it was extra fun, we raised some money for the Jimmy Fund. Then it was off to a Kentucky Derby Charity Event for the Medway Foundation for Education, followed by The Party for the Pantry Fundraiser Concert in Franklin for their Food Pantry. Long day, but all fun. I only had a chance to go through the Free Comic Book Day photos. My favorite is little “Rey” taking down Kylo Ren with ease and the force. A lot of money raised for charities today by hard working people who volunteered their time to give back in so many ways. I am lucky to be part of a great community.
