I am behind on updating the We Are Medway Project page, once I catch up with weddings and Sr. Photos, I will get it caught up. I have been collecting portraits in the meantime, today Grace and Priscilla joined, and they deserve to be shared. They wrote a Medway history book and were officers of the Historical Society and Historical Commission as well as many other committees and projects over the many years. You can even pick up there book Medway, at Galantes’s Restaurant in town.

Priscilla Nevers Howker

Date: September 26, 2018, Age: 92, Medway Resident since 1954, Occupation: Librarian Retired.“We’ve lived in Medway since 1954; our four children have attended Medway schools, now live out of town. My husband, Jack, worked at Clicquot Club, then the Army Research Facility. I’ve been active in the League of Women Voters, Library Trustees, and the Historical Society. Medway has changed a great deal since we moved here. I’ve become very interested in saving aspects of our history.”

Grace G. Hoag

Date: September 26, 2018, Age: 92, Medway Resident since 1953. “Raised a large family in town and we still get together on Sundays. I am a member of the historical society and the historical commission.”

Grace G. Hoag and Priscilla N. Howker

Date: September 26, 2018. “Grace and Priscilla are both long-time Medway residents, involved in the Historical organizations in town. In 2004 they published a book titled Medway, published by Arcadia Publishing. From about the author: Grace and Priscilla have compiled this memorable volume from the collections of Francis Donovan and the Medway Historical Society. As active members of the society, Hoag and Howker also worked on the historic document survey.”
