A week ago I had written the Cooper off… pronounced it dead. Though it cost a bit to fix, it was premature to call it a goner. It came home today, with a 100% less leaks and cleaner than ever. Roof open, windows down, Josie and I cruised the roads, it is in the best shape it has been in years thanks to European Motor Works in Holliston, MA. Mark there knows his European stuff. I highly recommend him if like me you are glutton for punishment and need a fun drive now and then – it seems to come at an expense. Cooper’s friend the Tacoma still out of commission, but is in good hands at Long Distance Tire in Medway (you can not collect too many good mechanics) awaiting it’s repair. Damn wallet is lighter every day lately.
