I met Ellie today. She is 4, almost 5. Her and her family had a photo session this morning at Hopedale Park. I love the longer sessions with kids, it is not about more photos, it is about the right photos. We started our session walking by these awesome wings. “Ellie want a photo here?” “No, thank you.” gripping Mom’s hand tightly. 15 Minutes later deeper in the path, after a few quick poses, she tells me “nice to meet you Tim!” Then it was on, she was giving me directions, suggestions, showing me her vision for the session, I loved it. I felt so bad when she asked if she could hold my hand, and I had to refuse (thanks 2020). But she said that was OK. 50 minutes later, we are back to the wings. I did not have to ask… I love the sessions where I get the time to “meet” the kids. It was my pleasure to get these photos of her and her fantastic family.
