Not the best image at all, but a fun moment- three, actually. I merged three shots, taken seconds apart. I was standing on the bridge talking to friends, and the heron decided to go from one side of the dam to the other. It was more a leap than a flight; wrong lens, not set up for speed at all. In between Senior Photos, I pointed and shot three times. This is what I got: the leaping heron.
