I stopped at Deer Island in Newburyport, looking for birds, not sure what I would find. I have never photographed an Oriole before, but I found two. They did not make it easy, kept hiding behind branches, hoping tree to tree, I got a few shots though.

Excellent pics !!! Such a gorgeous bird ! Well worth the trip ! Put out oranges cut in half with grape jelly on your bird pokes or fence poles , they will come find you!! Carol used to do this with great success year after year! Think of the gas saved , instead of driving hither and yawn… just you , a coffee and a camera, at home….
