More cameras today — my 110s. All logged and documented.
I’ve been ranking everything as Standard, Interesting, or Iconic — not based on value, but on where each camera stands in the larger story of photography.
There are two Iconic cameras in this pile. First row, second from the bottom — the Kodak Pocket Instamatic 20 (1972–1976). The camera that kicked off the 110 fad. For its time, a perfect pocket camera.
The other is the yellow one — the Minolta Weathermatic-A (1980–1987). One of the most famous 110 cameras made. Waterproof to 15 feet, chunky dials, glove-friendly controls. Popular with hikers, and still sought after.
History has proven 110 as an important chapter in film — small, easy to use, 16mm film in a cartridge. Lo-fi, grainy, unmistakable when you see it. I loved 110 film. There are a few more 110s here, just not in the pocket format. They’ll be added later.
