Before Minifigures, (Lego little figures – think Legoboy) Lego had “Homemaker Figures”. They did not last very long. They were introduced in the mid 70’s and did not make it out of the decade, Minifigures showed up in 1978 and were more popular instantly. I found a full set at a flea market last weekend and I already had an incomplete set I got at a yard sale a few months back. With some modifications I made a prehistoric version of Legoboy and then gave him a family. They are fun sets, long before movie sets, long before instruction books, curved pieces, custom colors, there was just pictures on a box of things you could make.
