I’ve had the pleasure of joining Ray Auger on the radio for a Christmas Eve show for over a decade. This year, things are a bit different—Ray has ventured out on his own and launched Raydio, a 24/7 internet radio station designed to connect, engage, and entertain the community with upbeat music, local insights, and plenty of positive vibes. In just a few weeks, Raydio has grown significantly and, with Ray’s focus on community, has quickly become a valuable part of the local scene.
Over the past two mornings, I had the chance to “co-host” his morning program, which currently runs from 7–10 a.m. Starting in the new year, it will expand to 6–10 a.m. With the new Apple app (and an Android version on the way), it’s easy to tune in wherever you are—at home, in the car, or on the go.
I’m proud to be an advertiser on Raydio and even prouder to support a talented friend who has pursued his passion and turned it into a success.
This holiday season, I encourage you to check out Raydio. Give it some support—a like, a download of the app, a listen—and if you own a business, consider advertising. I can personally attest that Ray’s audience aligns with my business and many others in the area.
Raydio also makes a fantastic workplace soundtrack: upbeat music, positive energy, and limited but local commercials—a true win-win. If you have upcoming events, share them with Ray; he’ll help spread the word. And if you’re looking for local happenings, his Facebook page is a great resource.
You’ll likely hear me back on Raydio occasionally, so tune in and, as Ray’s tagline says, Click. Listen. Smile.
