A vision of Bill Phipps, teacher, coach, athletic director at Medway High School from 1966 to 2003, a new Mustang Statue was dedicated today at Hanlon field. Surrounded by family, friends, colleagues, and students current and past, Bill was celebrated as a mentor to many who have called themselves Mustangs over the years. Bill had the idea for this permanent mascot memorial decades ago. The Mustang statue is a great addition to the legacy of Medway High School and will be celebrated for years to come.
