This afternoon I had two family sessions. The first was with Timothy and his parents. He just turned one. Took a few minutes to warm up, but we were able to get a few smiles. Looking at my calendar, it has been seven months since I had two booked sessions in one day. I have taken plenty of photos over that time, but portrait work has been limited. It was great to get back to doing what I miss, working with families. Still cautious, still photographing from a distance, but it was great to feel like things are on a path to normal with more on the calendar ahead. Some great subjects to kick off the season.
