One of the Christmas presents this year were tickets for the family to see Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of OZ, playing in Providence. The show was great, it was my son’s first time seeing it, everyone else was already a fan, Barbie and I saw it on Broadway about 10 years ago. Highly recommended, even if you do not like musicals. It is awesome how the story is woven into The Wizard of OZ, which you will never look at the same once you see Wicked. Anna and I recreated a scene from the performance with a Lego Wicked Witch (minus warts) for Elphaba, and a modified Marylin Monroe, Mermaid head and blonde hair that I drilled a hole into add a bride’s crown to complete Glinda the Good.
