The camera is my Rolleiflex 3.5f, still trying to uncover a slight light leak, which could be user-caused. More tests tomorrow. On a quick walk along one of the Medway trails, the old Medway Lumber truck felt like a great subject, about the same age as the camera. I even had a frame of the girls’ tennis team – they were patient enough to stand for a film photo.

Allow me this one AD now and then. I do not advertise much here, but this is what I worked on today, so it works for the dailypic. The 1953 Chevy and the Farm are both secured, so my annual Medway Community Farm sessions are ready for sign-ups. I have had rain for the last two years, so I feel I am due for a gorgeous weekend. It is a great time, rain or shine—though really bad weather—we do cancel, and I will refund the fees. Only a month away!

The 4th Annual Holiday Photo Sessions @ The Medway Community Farm

Sessions feature real Christmas trees, tractors, and a 1953 Chevy truck, all decorated for the season. Dogs are welcome (leashed, please).

The venue is PWD accessible and located just steps from parking.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot.
Full refunds will be issued if sessions are cancelled due to weather.

I put a lot of work into my annual Farm Sessions. Planning, organizing, setting up, and managing the rotating sign-ups this year—there are lots of moving parts this year. The good news is the weekend is here. It has not rained in 3 months, so why not a chance of showers at this two-day-only session? Last year, it rained, too, and we still made the best of it. The setup came out great, thanks to the Medway Community Farm for the use of the space and tractors, and this year, we added a 1953 Chevy Truck to the mix thanks to Mike, a local car collector and friend of the farm/town. I hope those who come, though, enjoy it. I’m looking forward to some last-minute additions to the schedule, too. I would rather photograph happy families than take more selfies of me impersonating Santa in the antique mirrors.
