Sixteen years ago at 9:15am, Anna (not Madison – the original planned name) joined the world. Sixteen is one of those milestone birthdays. To celebrate, we went to the registry in Attleboro  – which I think was a jail at one time- to get her the right to sit behind a wheel and raise my insurance rates. Now, she might have one of the best permit stories ever, the highlights include being overlooked by the number counter, slamming  creaky doors, creepy (and I MEAN creepy) dude that maybe should have his medication reevaluated and a wrong way on the one way, but it all worked out and she got her picture taken by a pro and a new number to go by. Happy Birthday Skittle, I truly believe you make the world a better place.
