Lisa and Bill were married today at an intimate ceremony at Windy Knob Farm in Millis, MA—a beautiful day and location for a wonderful family. Chickens and kids running around everywhere, family and friends were celebrating the couple, and lobster and ice cream for all. It was perfect. Congratulations, Lisa and Bill. Thank you for allowing me to document your day.

I picked up the set of Simpson Lego figures over the summer. Some have shown up in photos now and then, but most had not been shot yet. During the gallery sale I sold a few copies of an older dailypic, the Star Wars bunch (added below). Nine Star Wars Lego figures, shot about 3 years ago. It gave me the idea to get this one together. I had a quiet night, so I hid at the studio and shot it, The Springfield Gang. I wish there were more figures, I would have liked to see them make the Bumble Bee Guy, Comic Book Guy, Mr. Smithers or Otto Mann, but it is limited to these 16.

Taking care of some logistic stuff, I announced a few nights ago some of you that had not seen the dailypic blog in a while might had received it after some changes I made.  Well, they did not work, those who were getting it still got it, but not all.  So, with some additional tinkering, I think this time we might be reaching some older fans that think it just ended. If by chance you are seeing this for the first time in awhile, welcome back. Drop me a comment letting me know… it would be appreciated.  I try to avoid sending tests clogging up in-boxes.

Continuing with the recently completed Simpsons Lego Set, which I was shocked and entertained to see is under protest on Lego Fan pages.  Did you know the Simpsons are apparently the worst thing to happen to America? They are corrupting our children, ruining family values.

“I say no to Simpsons. It is not appropriate at all for LEGO’s age group. It’s not really appropriate for anyone. :/”

I have not been a rebel in a very long time, since about the time the Simpsons started, I purchased this set at my own risk, I got lucky there were no protesters in front of the store that day. Are these people insane? The only thing the Simpsons are guilty of is maybe not being as funny as they once were. Have you seen the crap that is on TV these days? We are going to blame the Simpsons? Kids don’t even watch the show because it is too tame. I think Spongebob is more of a bad influence than the Simpsons (and I am a Spongebob Fan, and they have Spongebob Legos too). The house is complete. 2523 pieces, 6 figures, 1 car and assorted lawn furniture. Humor me over the next few days, I think I will do a series of shots with the set.
