Sometimes I take these for me, these two figures have been on a shelf for a while, sitting just like this. Today I passed them and thought, ‘ha, Hulk is looking for Obi-Wan’. No idea why today it dawned on me, but it did, so here it is Hulk doing a Princess Leia impression. They all can’t be winners, but this one make me laugh I can hear him saying “Help Hulk Obi-Wan Kenobi. You Hulk only hope.”

Day three of toy week, the 2 sides of the Hulk. Do you have an old toy? New toy? One of your kids toys? Stuffed animal? Figure? I will be holding an open house at the studio this Saturday, bring a toy, collectible, memorabilia, or keepsake down and get it photographed. I will have a toy each day this week for the dailypic as a reminder. See details below. Or contact me for info.

I have been uninspired to shoot toy photos lately. Subjects go in cycles. The last few weren’t interesting to me, plain. Sitting at the studio tonight, this Hulk has been on the shelf waiting his turn, and it hit me… dirt. This is not photo-shopped, I am sure it could had been, but I rather shoot it in the camera. A handful of dirt, one light and reflector and 5 shots, 4 attempts and a vacuum to clean it all up. The progress is shown below. My favorite is above.

Day two of being trapped on the couch. Keep it elevated was what I was told, the pillows got boring.
