There are sheep everywhere, we were told by a farmer that they all actually belong to someone. In the spring they are let go to roam the land, eat grass and do whatever it is sheep do.  They are all tagged and remain the property of the farm that released them. Come fall, all the farmers round up all the sheep and put them in a Hlidarrett Sheephold, there a farmer from each farm goes through all the sheep and put theirs in the holding pen. He was very excited about this event, he said it is a lot of fun… then mentioned it might take longer than it should due to the drinking. There is an old sheephold next to the hotel, so I grabbed some shots tonight as the sky started to cloud up. The drone view really shows the farmers “pens”, from the ground it looks like a bunch of random stone walls, but there is structure to it.

The time-stamp on this photo is 12:01:12 September 1, 2014.  72 seconds in to a new day, and the man is Rob, the owner of the Tradesman (The T) in Milford, Ma. Behind him is the remains of the biggest, baddest rock and roll show this side of anywhere and… his bar. I walked behind the building 13 hours earlier and Rob shook my hand and said “trp, ,make us look good”. It was an easy thing to do. 11 bands, vendors, a food truck, Dj JC Fusion, fans, fans, and more fans.  Pouring rain did not stop us, a quick tornado warning might have gotten our attention but it passed. The show was insane. I thought last year was huge, seeing what a difference a year makes, I am slightly scared for August 30th, 2015.  Great job Rob and all those that helped, Mr. Rock and Roll Ray, Chris on sound, the light crew, the stage builders, the vendors, the cooks, the bartenders, the Milford Police Dept, the poor people that needed to clean up, the fans and most of all the bands – each one talented enough to headline their own show.
