Spent the afternoon at a favorite spot today, Bernat Antiques in Uxbridge. While there, I asked this gentleman if I could take his portrait. I am jealous of the incredible beard. I asked his name, and he replied, “Joe, Last Time I Checked.” It was a pleasure meeting him, and I got the photo and some great stories.

Day five of holiday mini sessions are complete. Over 100 families photographed in five days, most in three, Saturday, Sunday, and the ten-hour marathon today. Colton, who was a dailypic way back when he was four weeks old (last week), makes his second appearance on this page – which might be a record age-wise. A quick sample from his Santa session today. Thank you to all the families who trusted me with their holiday photos this week. Time to take a break from Christmas to fit in Thanksgiving and edit.

The weekend of the 2000 draft Tom Brady became a Patriot and I bought this hat. Tossed it in a closet and did not think of it for a while. September 23rd, 2001, Mo Lewis, Drew Bledsoe, and I wore this hat for the first time. Now it is falling apart, it smells quite bad, and is sticky to touch. You can read the whole story of my hat here. In short, I have had it for just shy of 20 years. With today’s news, the hat will be retired. Thanks Tom.

I found these weeks back, and then it never rained, until this morning… I got soaked taking this photo. Lying on the cement patio so I could get that reflection. Right after I got it, it stopped raining.
