A great Christmas with the family, the kids are older, the house is fuller. A perfect day. Merry Christmas to you all.

Last night I got to photograph Emily’s Ninth Birthday Party. How do you celebrate your first birthday after a pandemic? Well, how about a surprise kickball party with all your friends? It was a blast, blindfolded and brought to the event, then three innings of some intense kickball, cake, ice cream, and rainbows. I have no idea what I did for my ninth, but this surely was better. Happy Birthday to Emily!

Wedding number two yesterday was with Emily and David. A beautiful backyard wedding among family and friends. We met for engagement photos about a year ago – they told me about a much different plan for their wedding. I know things changed, but this was perfect. Thank you for having me as part of your day. Congratulations!

Emily and David will be getting married in the summer of 2020 – today we practiced taking photos with their engagement session. They needed no practice though, they were naturals. It was great getting to know them better. I look forward to working with them again next summer.
