I have been taking Casper’s photos since the day he arrived home – a benefit of living feet from my studio. Today he is 7. Over the last year, we have learned that he needs a dog, and if I shave my beard off, he thinks I am not me and will not talk to me. Happy Birthday, Casper. I am sure you will be in front of my camera for the first day of school in a few weeks.

With my kids well past school age, I have to take photos of the neighbor’s kids on the last day of school. Casper finished Kindergarten today, and he is in the class of 2033. I can’t wrap my head around that number—way to go Casper.

My neighbor and friend Casper came by the studio tonight for a tour and some quick photos. I got him to stop talking just long enough for some new pictures, been a while since I’ve taken any, I think his last shoot was as Officer Casper with the Medway Police Dept. No badge this time but he did have his Nerf gun.
