I spent the morning photographing a family at Parsons Daffodil Field in Darmouth, MA. A beautiful spot, buried in the woods, with Daffodils as far as you can see.

Been a week for leaves, flowers, and buds… to be honest they have just been easy, grab the macro lens and shoot. I went back and looked at some of the shots from this week last year and they show full leaves, large blooms, it is amazing how far behind everything is this season. Next week I get a change of scenery, I will be heading to San Antonio TX. New things to shoot and when I get back, I hope this place will look like Spring.

It has been one of those weeks. Nothing really to pin down as why, it just felt that way… The family and I are getting away this weekend. Spending a few days in NYC. Time seemed to drag as we got closer to this trip. In a strange way it felt right to end this week by practically laying on the wet ground, in the rain, in front of my house, as people were driving by on their way home from work, trying to get the right angle for the only bloom that has been brave enough to attempt to push spring closer. The good news is this weekend is supposed to be nice where I am going. I hope it is nice wherever you are. Tomorrow: Pics from Manhattan.
