My buddy Ally is in the 4th grade, and this week was theme week at her school. The last theme was Future Friday – so she dressed as ‘Tim Rice Photo’. Not sure if she will be a photographer in the future, she has plenty of time to figure it out, but I will always be happy to take her photo. She even took her duck with her, which is the twin of one I have in my studio. I was honored to be represented, I heard there were a ton of ‘Taylor Swifts’ at school today, too, so she had plenty to take photos of. Now I should probably figure out what I want to be in the future.

Ally turned ten. She has been in front of my camera since she was only hours old – I was lucky enough to be one of the very first to greet her in the world. We did monthly sessions during her first year with photos on this same chair. She is a big fan of my studio duck, which I got her one for her own. Both made it into today’s special 10th Birthday session. Happy birthday a few days late. It took her a year to smile at me, but since then it has been nothing but smiles, and direction, tons of direction, she is always in charge of our shoots, telling how she should pose, where the lights should be, what the action will be, I just document her visions at this point.

Ally came to the studio to model a new Tim Rice Photo shirt. I have launched my own school photo plan. Group sessions in neighborhoods, parks, yards, or private sessions in my studio. Making school photos fun and better. The fun part is the shirt that can be added to a session. Ally made a great model. More info here.
