This afternoon Abbie Gardner and Craig Akin stopped by the studio for a quick session. I have met them both at the Ellis Paul Songwriter’s Retreat the last two years. We got talking last week, and it turned out Abbie has a show tonight in Franklin, MA at the Circle of Friends Coffee House. Being only a few miles from there, we were able to set up a photo session on their way. They are both part of an incredible Americana band, Red Molly and also have solo careers. Abbie is headline tonight’s show solo with her dobro she plays lap-style and will be accompanied by Craig on his stand up bass. Everything here is linked, I suggest you check them out.
