Little beads that grow in water, a glass full of warm water, a few tablespoons of cooking oil, stir them up, add to the lights underneath, and use the macro lens to capture it. This is the result. Like little worlds colliding and bouncing around.

I shaved the beard off a few weeks back, but the clean look did not last. It’s not for me, hasn’t been for over 30 years. The beard is back. Besides, I got this cool mug, so I have no choice but to have one.

My first attempt at iris photos. Macro lens, Lume Light stick, and a real close and personal photo session. The one on the left is mine, the other is my wife’s. Blended together to make a sweet “couple’s” portrait.

A less than stellar Daredevil action figure, a plastic cross, two red light sticks, one stationary on camera left, the other waved behind the figure as the photo was taken. A smoke machine was triggered by a remote directly overhead of the subject, and a 0.4-second exposure shot was taken with a macro lens at f12. I miss my toy photos.

I was in Beverly, MA for a session today. After, I headed over to the Graffiti Wall. A legal graffiti wall behind Clemenzi Industrial building along railroad tracks. I met some artists while I was there telling me about some of the pieces. There was a recent meet-up of artists updating the walls. The walls were full of fresh designs. Then I checked out Gaff City Gallery in the same building, a cool spot featuring the work of graffiti artists. Location: McPherson St., Beverly – entrance is located on West Federal St.
