An early dailypic, taken late last night. The storm rolled in and was full of lightning and thunder. Most were in the clouds, and you did not see the bolts. I was in the driveway for about 30 minutes waiting and could tell the storm was more intense over the town park. I jumped in the truck and drove the half mile. On that drive the skies opened, the rain was pouring, and I got soaked running the overhang I had planned on hiding under. Even that was not dry, with the wind blowing in the water – Camera soaked, I was soaked, lens covered in rain, I only needed one shot. Here it is, a 20-second exposure. There were two times the bolts were visible, this is the better. The other is below. Both are taken as I saw them, no special editing, no addition of lighting, just nature’s show.

Excellent!!! Fast fingers… twice !
A super Awesome shot TIM! worth the effort me thinks.
thanks for the effort these two shots show all the minor “arms” of lightning too
